We hold ourselves to the highest standards in customized care and strive to empower each of our patients with curative treatments, actionable insights, and goal-oriented remedies specific to their unique wellness journeys.
THE FOUNDER
Meet Emma
Emma McCune is a nationally board-certified Acupuncturist, a trained Chinese Medical Herbalist and a Functional Medicine practitioner. Emma completed her Master of Acupuncture with a dual specialization in Chinese Herbal Medicine and Japanese Acupuncture (MACHM) at the New England School of Acupuncture at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She completed all required coursework for her Functional Medicine Practitioner Certification (IFMCP) at The Institute for Functional Medicine. She earned double majors in Psychology and Religion, with a concentration in Eastern theology, at Colgate University. These courses leveraged Emma’s passion for understanding people and helping them. Post grad, Emma worked in software sales until she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease which prompted a journey of healing and a calling to use the disciplines that helped her to improve the health of others.
In seeking treatment for Hashimoto’s, Emma experienced the feeling of being unseen and unheard within the conventional medicine model, seeking full recovery within a health care system that did not have time or perspective to deeply and thoughtfully address a broad and individual approach to healing. Acupuncture and functional medicine gave her the tools and education to put herself back in touch with her body and on the path to recovery. Through this, she discovered a deep sense of fulfillment in learning healing disciplines that combine the best of Western and Eastern medicine to empower others to actively manage their own health. The Wei is the fruition of this journey: a place of healing, transformation, connection, education, and community for people who are committed to taking control of their health and experiencing what it feels like to thrive.
Emma loves working with any of the specific challenges that arise around physical and mental health, with a focus on enabling and empowering patients to take agency over their own healing journey so they can truly feel like the arbiters of their own health destiny.

THE TEAM
Meet Claudia
Dr. Claudia Arregoytia is a highly credentialed practitioner, holding dual degrees as an MD (Medical Doctor) and ND (Naturopathic Doctor), and is certified in Functional Medicine (IFMCP). She is a researcher, speaker, and passionate longevity advocate who transforms health by seeing the body as a whole, integrated system.
Dr. Arregoytia's professional journey began with disillusionment with the conventional medical system during her Family Medicine residency, where the focus was on efficiency and quick pharmaceutical fixes rather than addressing the root cause of illness. This stressful environment led to her own burnout and struggle with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, forcing her to pause her training. This direct experience as a patient exposed the critical limitations of traditional care and motivated her to step away to find a better way to heal.
Having successfully restored her own well-being, Dr. Arregoytia now leads a revolutionary, patient-centered approach to healthcare. Through her unique approach, she guides and fully empowers clients to achieve their optimal potential. Her foundational belief is that true health originates within, harnessing the body's innate ability to restore balance when given the correct foundation for healing. She uses her intuition—her superpower—to pinpoint the most effective path to lasting transformation for each client.
Dr. Arregoytia is dedicated to improving the healthcare system, committed to innovation, practicality, and accountability, while actively standing against quick fixes. Beyond her practice, she serves as Adjunct Clinical Faculty at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, mentoring future functional medicine practitioners, and is a Ringside Physician for the Washington State Department of Licensing. She maintains her balance and energy through an active life that includes snowboarding, tango dancing, and Jiu Jitsu training.
